Kyoko Herz

Kyoko is a resident of Pleasanton CA. She was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan. She worked as a Japanese Language Instructor both in Japan and US until she got into jewelry business.
Her first exposure to jewelry was when she promoted American jewelry artists' Dichroic glass jewelry and hand blown glass jewelry in Tokyo.
During that time, she discovered the natural beauty in colorful gemstones and began making delicate knotted necklaces and bracelets. Since then she has been selling her jewelry in both US and Japan.
Her inspiration for her jewelry comes from the beauty of nature, such as the skies and oceans, sweet flowers on the hills, trees in the mountains.
She enjoys Art and Music. She listens to all kinds of music and love going to concerts. She especially likes classical music and pop music of the 70s and 80s, both from America and Japan.
She also enjoys growing flowers in her yard. Her favorite flowers are Roses and Hydrangeas. She has two kitties, Choco and Pippa and one Border collie, Blue.
