Dendritic agate is a precious stone that is also known as tree agate. It is a type of chalcedony, a microcrystalline form of quartz. Dendritic agate is translucent to opaque and can be brown, black, grey, or colorless. It has a milky body tone, but also contains inclusions that resemble foliage or tree branches.
